Takeover Target was purchased as a 4 year old for $1,375.00 at a sale for cast offs when his previous trainer finally gave up trying to overcome crippling knee problems.

In the care of Joe Janiak he won his first seven starts culminating in the G1 Salinger Stakes. He has since gone on to add the G1 Lightning Stakes and G1 Newmarket Handicap at Flemington. Recently he beat 28 of the world's best sprinters in the G2 King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot in the UK, in front of the Queen & a crowd of 80,000 people, as part of the Global Sprint Challenge. Currently his tally stands at 12 wins from 20 starts and more than 1.5 million dollars in prizemoney. His next start will be in Japan as he continues in the Global Sprint Challenge. Cold-therapy - is an ideal treatment for a wide range of ailments including:

Best Results
For best results wet the horses legs, as well as the inside of the boots, this will help conduct the cold to the target area. Wetting the boots also helps begin the thawing process which then allows the boot to begin molding themselves to the legs, giving increased contact. The boots will stay cold long enough to ice 2 horses for 20 minutes each per freeze.

Length of Treatment
Always seek veterinary advice before applying any cold-therapy product. Treatments longer than 20 minutes are not recommended.

Large - Horses over 15 hands high Thoroughbreds, Showjumpers, Eventers etc.
Medium - Horses up to 16 hands high. Standardbreds, Quarter Horses, Stockhorses etc.
