Cold-therapy - is an ideal treatment for a wide range of ailments including:

• Degenerative joint disease (puffy joints/wind galls)

• Shin soreness

• Strained tendons and ligaments

• Sesamoid injuries

• Capped hocks

Cold-therapy can be used as a preventative measure following strenuous exercise against any of the above, in particular shin soreness and joint damage.

Best Results
For best results wet the horses legs, as well as the inside of the boots, this will help conduct the cold to the target area. Wetting the boots also helps begin the thawing process which then allows the boot to begin molding themselves to the legs, giving increased contact. The boots will stay cold long enough to ice 2 horses for 20 minutes each per freeze.
